About CAHA/ACHA

The Canadian Adapted Hockey Alliance/Alliance Canadienne de Hockey Adapté is a collective of adapted hockey teams for individuals with developmental, cognitive, and/or cognitive+physical disabilities who are determined to ensure that hockey really is for everyone!

CAHA/ACHA programs will be as inclusive as they possibly can be, while ensuring that all our athletes, no matter their ability, has a great time playing Canada’s game, making friends, and belonging to their adapted hockey family and their community as well. Each team will determine for themselves the extent of their level of inclusion, recognizing that in some smaller communities and programs will look different than those in larger communities with larger programs.

CAHA/ACHA member clubs are committed to excellence in programming, administration, and operations. They are committed to openness, honesty, integrity, accountability and loyalty.

CAHA/ACHA member clubs are committed to supporting and protecting one another, working toward the mutual goal of expanding adapted hockey across Canada and contributing to the development and growth of new programs as well!

Simply put, this is CAHA/ACHA’s vision: Creating opportunities for those with developmental, cognitive and cognitive+physical disabilities to develop their strength, hockey skills, sportsmanship and life skills while deepening their love of the game and their team.

Join us in our mission to make sure that #hockeyisforeveryone, please #chooseinclusion
